ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSBids will be received by the Hancock County Regional Planning Commission via the Bid Express website at www.bidexpress.com until 11:30am on February 24, 2026, then publicly opened at the Board of Hancock County Commissioners Office, First Floor Conference Room, 514 S. Main St., Findlay, for the furnishings of necessary labor and materials for the following: Mt Blanchard Municipal Pool Repair Rebid Bids must be submitted via the Bid Express website at www.bidexpress.com using the electronic forms furnished by Hancock County. Paper and fax copies will not be accepted for bid submittal. Free registration with Bid Express will allow a bidder to review and print all project plans. A digital ID along with a per bid fee or monthly subscription will be required for bidders to submit an electronic bid. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of a Cashier's Check, Certified Check or Letter of Credit payable to the Hancock County Commissioners in the amount of 10% of the bid amount or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. Prospective bidders may address inquiries to Kaysie Penzinski, Grant Administrator through the Bid Express website. All inquiries must be submitted no later than 10:00AM on February 18, 2026. This is a federally funded program, and therefore SPECIAL ATTENTION MUST BE GIVEN to all the requirements, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the County.
