LEGAL NOTICEINVITATION TO BIDThe Hancock County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for work on the 2026 Ditch Maintenance Spray Project until 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 at which time all bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at the Hancock County Commissioners 514 S. Main St., 1st Floor Findlay, Ohio 45840. The maintenance plans and specifications consist of spraying ditch banks. Sealed bids shall be in writing on a form furnished by the Hancock Soil and Water Conservation District, 7868 CR 140, Suite E., Findlay, Ohio. Phone number: 419-422-6569. Construction specifications and bid forms are available from the Hancock Soil and Water Conservation District. Sealed bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10 %) of the bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will sign a contract for the performance of the work as well as furnish such performance/construction bond to the Hancock County Commissioners for the performance of the contract as required by law. Under Ohio Revised Code, section 4115.03 this project DOES NOT qualify for prevailing wages. The Hancock County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any irregularities in the best interest of the Board. Bids must be sealed and marked: “BID FOR 2026 Ditch Maintenance Spray Project" Hand delivered bids shall be delivered to: Hancock County Commissioners 514 S. Main St., 2nd Floor Findlay, Ohio 45840. Mailed Bids must be sent to 300 S. Main Street, Findlay, Ohio 45840 and must be received in the office of the Hancock County Commissioner's Office by 11:00 A.M. on March 10th, 2026.
