INVITATION TO BID Sealed proposals for improvements for 2026 RESURFACING PROJECT, Guernsey County, Ohio, will be received by the Westland Township Board of Trustees, 3655 Clay Pike Rd, Cumberland, Ohio, 43732, at 7:00 P.M., Local Time, March 2, 2026, and then and there publicly opened and read. The work under this improvement consists of everything necessary to complete the project as shown by the plans and specifications for said items on file in the Office of Guernsey County Engineer, 62782 Bennett Ave, Cambridge, Ohio 43725. Complete specifications, including contract and proposal forms and full information for bidders may be obtained from the office of the Fiscal Office of Westland Township. Plans and specifications will be mailed as soon as possible after receipt of the request. There is a $50.00 non-fundable charge for the plans and specifications, cash or check payable to Guernsey County Engineer. The following forms must be completed and submitted as the bid package: BF 1-1A Proposal Bond, BF 2 Experience Statement, BF 3 Time of Completion, BF 4 Personal Property Tax Affidavit and BF 5 Proposal Forms. State prevailing wage applies to this state funded project. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in an amount to 5% ot total bid tendered and made payable to the Westland Township Trustees, as a guarantee that, if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into in accordance therewith, and the check of successful bidder will be returned upon proper execution of contract with successful bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100% of his/her total bid, a certificate of insurance, and workers compensation certificate. Please mark all envelopes 2026 RESURFACING PROJECT. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. The engineer's estimate is $198,756. The Owner reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any and all bids. Advertisement dates to be February 15, 2026 and February 22, 2026.
