LEGAL NOTICE Sealed bids will be received by the City Engineer on behalf of the Director of Administration, City of Wooster, State of Ohio, at the office of said City Engineer, 538 N. Market Street, Wooster, Ohio, 44691 until twelve o'clock noon, March 3,2026 for the WTP Well S-4 Well Building and Raw Waterline in accordance with the specifications on file in said office. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, and be accompanied by a bidding bond or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid price as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured OR provide a bond for 100% of the bid amount. Copies of the contract documents are on file in the office of the City Engineer, City of Wooster, Ohio and are available for inspection by prospective bidders in the office or on the city's bidding information webpage https://www.woosteroh.com/engineering/bidding-information. Bidders must register for the plans through the City's ViewPoint website. Bidders must be registered for their bids to be considered. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders are required to use the forms which will be furnished on application. The project includes the construction of a steel platform with a modular pump house building installed on it, along with the pump, electrical work, and installation of 20" HDPE raw waterline. The Engineer's estimated construction cost for this project is $1,025,000. Completion Date: September 30, 2026. The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates established by the federal Davis-Bacon Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor. The Contract is funded by WSRLA Loan Funds and their requirements are included herein. This procurement is subject to the EPA Policy of encouraging the participation of Small Business in Rural Areas (SBRAs).
