Smith CASE NO.2025AD00038 LEGAL NOTICE (O.R.C 3107.11) TO: Tina Marie Jones, Natural Father/Mother, address unknown You are hereby notified that on the 9th day of October 2025, a Petition for the Adoption of Aniyah Rayne Jones, Said Aniyah Elizabeth Rayne Smith (the name the child will have after the proposed adoption) was born on 10/3/17 in Lorain, OH. The hearing on the NECESSITY OF CONSENT will be had on April 14 2026, at 10:30 AM. VIA ZOOM. Hearing on the BEST INTEREST OF CHILD will be had on June 16, 2026, at 9:30 AM. Hearing will be at Lorain County Probate Court, 225 Court Street, 6th Floor, Elyria, OH 44035. It is alleged in said Petition that you, as father/mother of said child has failed without justifiable cause to: The person is a parent who has failed without justifiable cause to provide more that de minimis contact with the minor for a period of at least one year immediately preceding the filing of the adoption petition or the placement of the minor in the home of the petitioner, That person is a parent who failed without justifiable cause to provide for the maintenance & support of the minor as required by law or judicial decree for a period of at least one year immediately preceding the filing of the adoption petition or the placement of the minor in the home of the petitioner Other grounds under R.C. 3107.07 (included putative father of the minor born prior to January 1, 1997). "A FINAL DECREE OF ADOPTION,IF GRANTED, WILL RELIEVE YOU OF ALL PARENTAL RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO CONTACT THE MINOR. ALL LEGAL RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE MINOR & YOU AND YOUR RELATIVES WILL TERMINATE, SO THAT THE MINOR IS A STRANGER TO YOU & YOUR RELATIVES FOR ALL PURPOSES WITH THE EXCEPTION OF DIVISION (A)(b) OF SECTION 3107.15 OF THE REVISED CODE.
