NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Austintown Township Board of Appeals shall hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 7:00 P.M., at the Township Building, 82 Ohltown Road, Austintown, Ohio, for consideration of the following cases: APPEAL CASE 2026-04-A SIPP TEPE ARCHITECTS LLC, 56 West South Range P.O. Box 332, North Lima, Ohio, 44452, on behalf of property owner Fifty Fifty Gifty, LLC, 653, Saddlebrook Drive, Boardman, Ohio, 44512, appeals from the decision of the Austintown Township Zoning Inspector and requests a conditional use permit from the terms of Article XI-Business B-2 District, Section 1102-Conditionally Permitted Uses, Paragraph 9-Gasoline Service Station, of the Austintown Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended August 5, 2024, to allow for the remodeling and occupancy of the proposed "Gateway Gas Mart" to be located at Parcel 48-036-0-034.00-0, the parcel is rectangular in shape measuring approximately 257 feet on the south property line and 210 feet on the east property line. The convenience store building will measure 1,760 square feet. Said property is further described as 702, North Meridian Road, Great Lot No. 5, is located at North Meridian Road – Crum Road intersection; and is zoned as a Business B-2 District in Austintown Township, Mahoning County, State of Ohio. APPEAL CASES 2026-05-A George Killin, 5999, West Webb Road, Mineral Ridge, Ohio, 44440, appeals from the decision of the Austintown Township Zoning Inspector and requests a variance from the terms of Article VI-Residence R-1 District, Section 604-Private Garages and other Outbuildings and Carports, of the Austintown Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended through August 5, 2024, to allow for a outbuilding measuring 24' x 41'x 9' wall height (1,032sq. feet) 14' height overall to be placed within the south easterly section of the rear yard. The outbuilding would have a 70 ft. rear setback and a 26 ft. side yard setback from the east property line. No detached garage or outbuilding shall exceed a maximum area of six hundred seventy-two (672) square feet.
