SECTION 001113 – ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Reading School District is soliciting sealed bids for the Millmont Elementary School Kitchen Upgrades (“Project”) in the form of MULTIPLE prime lump sum contracts. Sealed Bids shall be delivered to The Reading School District Administration Building, 800 Washington Street, Reading, PA 19601, no later than 3:00 p.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be conducted on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Millmont Elementary School, 400 Summit Ave, Reading, PA 19611. Representatives of the Project Engineer (CHA) will provide project details at this meeting. Non-attendees will not be permitted to bid. Construction will be bid for the following Prime Contracts: Contract No. 1: General Construction Contract No. 2: Mechanical & Plumbing Construction Contract No. 3: Electrical Construction Contracts 1 through 3: To Bid the Project, prospective bidders must obtain the Contract Documents in PDF format directly from CHA by contacting dei@chasolutions.com. Documents will be sent electronically after receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00). Checks or money orders shall be made payable to “CHA” and mailed to 1 E. Broad Street, Suite 310, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Cash will not be accepted.
