Invitation to bid for asbestos abatement at B.F. Morey Elementary School.

PUBLIC NOTICE ASBESTOS ABATEMENT PROJECT INVITATION TO BID  The Stroudsburg Area School District is requesting sealed proposals from qualified contractors for an Asbestos Abatement Project at B.F. Morey Elementary School. Interested contractors may obtain bid documents by emailing Meredith Smith at mrsmith@sburg.org or by visiting the districts website at www.sburg.org. The documents contain detailed project requirements, specifications, and bidding procedures.  The Stroudsburg Area School District Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or to accept the proposal that it finds, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the school district.  A Pre-Bid meeting and site visit is scheduled for February 13, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the B.F. Morey Elementary School, 1044 West Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.  All proposals must be submitted no later than 9:30 a.m. on March 6, 2026. All proposals should be delivered in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Stroudsburg Area School District and be clearly marked: “MOREY ABATEMENT PROJECT”. Bids will be publicly opened at 10:00 a.m. on March 6, 2026 at the Stroudsburg Area School District, Administration Building, 123 Linden Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
