PUBLIC NOTICE MUNICIPAL WASTE MAJOR PERMIT MODIFICATION APPLICATION Notice is hereby given that the Southeastern Chester County Refuse Authority (SECCRA) intends to submit an application for a major modification of the existing permit for the SECCRA Community Landfill to the Southeastern Regional Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PaDEP). The proposed modification is for the conversion of the existing landfill gas-to-electric plant into a processing facility that will convert captured landfill gas into renewable natural gas (RNG). Copies of this application will be available for review at the Southeastern Regional Office, 2 E. Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401-4915, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Fees for copying may be charged by the PaDEP. The public, host municipality, and the county may submit recommendations for permit conditions, revisions, permit approval or disapproval, and other comments to the PaDEP within sixty (60) days of receipt of the application. Specific reasons must be described for any recommended conditions. The PaDEP will also accept and consider comments from the public during the permit review.
