Sealed bids for Simmons Elementary Pool Decommissioning Project due March 26, 2026.

The Hatboro-Horsham School District is soliciting sealed bids for the Simmons Elementary Pool Decommissioning Project (“Project”) in the form of SINGLE prime lump sum contract.
 
Sealed Bids shall be delivered to Bill Stone at the Hatboro-Horsham District Office located at 227 Meetinghouse Road, Suite 100, Horsham, PA 19044 no later than 1:00 p.m. prevailing time on Thursday March 26, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read.
 
The School District has adopted a Responsible Contractors Policy (RCP) setting forth provisions for the prime contractor and all its subcontractors when the prime contract exceeds Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00). Policy 826 – Responsible Contractors and its requirements for bidder submissions can be found at https://go.boarddocs.com/pa/hhsd/Board.nsf/Public?open&id=policies. Bidders must prequalify with the District by submitting the completed Contractor Responsibility Certification (CRC) form, which can be found at https://www.hatboro-horsham.org/page/policy826, and pre-qualification requirements set forth within the RCP to bstone@hatboro-horsham.org for review 14 calendar days before the bid due date. Failure to provide proper CRC documentation will result in disqualification.
 
A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be conducted on Wednesday March 4, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Simmons Elementary School located at 411 Babylon Road, Horsham. PA 19044. Representatives of the Project Engineer (CHA) will provide project details at this meeting. Non-attendees will not be permitted to bid.
 
Electronic Contract Documents: To Bid the Project, prospective bidders must obtain the Contract Documents in electronic format (PDF) directly from CHA (bids@chasolutions.com) accompanied by a non-refundable fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00). Checks shall be made payable to “CHA.” Documents will be sent electronically after receipt of payment. Bidders must supply the following information with their request for documents: company name, contact person, complete address, phone and cellular numbers, and email address. Documents will be available on February 17, 2026.
