BAVTS invites bids for a food trailer retrofit project.

41002/20/2026BETHLEHEM AREA VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL SCHOOL INVITATION TO BID FOOD TRAILER RETROFIT PROJECT   The Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School (BAVTS) is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the retrofit construction of a custom food truck trailer to support its student-run culinary program. The trailer will be purchased by BAVTS, and the successful bidder will complete the full commercial build-out in accordance with detailed specifications. The project includes, but is not limited to, structural modifications, commercial NSF equipment installation (fryers, griddle, refrigeration, hood and fire suppression system), generator installation, propane system, electrical and plumbing systems, stainless steel interior finishes, and all components necessary to meet applicable local and state health department regulations, IBC requirements, DOT compliance, and road safety standards. Interested contractors may obtain complete bid specifications and submission requirements by contacting Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School. BAVTS reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids or to accept the bid that it determines, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the school. Sealed bids shall be delivered no later than 9:00 a.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read at that time.
