NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE APPROVAL UNDER THE BOROUGH OF WYOMISSING ZONING ORDINANCE NOTICE is hereby given that an application for conditional use approval under the Borough of Wyomissing Zoning Ordinance has been presented by: A conditional use application has been submitted for the property located at 915 Penn Avenue, Borough of Wyomissing, Berks County, Pennsylvania requesting conditional use approval be granted under Section 502D.1, “Permitted Uses”, to allow a thirty (30) unit apartment building without first floor office, retail, professional services or a restaurant being provided, from the Re-Development Area Mixed Use Incentive Overlay Zoning District; Section 504D.6.A, “Additional Requirement”, to provide 32 off-street parking spaces instead of the required 45 off-street parking spaces; and Section 505D, “Modification of Other Requirements”, to allow the regulations of 504D to be modified by conditional use approval. The property which is the subject of the application is approximately 0.578 acres and is owned by 915 Penn Avenue, LLC. The property is located in the C-1, Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District and the Re-Development Area 1 Mixed Use Incentive Overlay Zoning District. The applicant is proposing to construct a thirty (30) unit apartment building with related parking, landscaping, lighting and other site improvements. A Public Hearing before Borough Council will be held at Wyomissing Borough Hall, 22 Reading Blvd., Wyomissing, PA, on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 11:00AM to determine whether or not the applicant's request will be granted. The applicant, all other parties in interest, and all citizens with standing who appear will have an opportunity to be heard at the time of the hearing at Borough Hall.
