Proposed abandoned mine land reclamation project for public health and safety.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Environmental Protection plans to submit to the U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of Surface Mining a proposed abandoned mine land reclamation project for grant funding.

The project listed below is being planned to eliminate the public health and safety hazards associated with un-reclaimed abandoned mine sites. This notice is for the purpose of gathering information about the proposed projects. Reclamation will not be initiated until project design is completed.
