TOWNSHIP OF HEMPFIELDNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENT TO ADOPTPursuant to the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, the Township of Hempfield will hold a public hearing at its regularly scheduled public meeting on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. prevailing time, at the Hempfield Township Municipal Building located at 1132 Woodward Drive, Suite A, Greensburg, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of considering:An Ordinance of the Township of HempfieldAMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2014-02, CODIFIED AS CHAPTER 87 (ZONING) OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF HEMPFIELD; SPECIFICALLY ADOPTING ARTICLE XXXI MUNICIPAL AND FIRE USE OVERLAY DISTRICT AND ARTICLE XXXII MIXED-USE INDUSTRIAL OVERLAY DISTRICT," AND AMENDING ARTICLE XVII CORRIDOR ENHANCEMENT OVERLAY DISTRICTComments will be received from the citizens of Hempfield Township and by the Board of Supervisors with respect to the proposed amendment(s).
