REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Notice is hereby given that the Commissioners’ Court of Calhoun County, Texas authorized the County Auditor to advertise for proposals for: CDBG GRANT ADMINISTRATION PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, RFP 2026.08 The County of Calhoun plans to apply for the upcoming Community Development Block Grant, funding from the General Land Office (GLO) Community Development Block Grant Program. The County will be applying for such funding to support infrastructure activities in the County of Calhoun. These services are being solicited to assist the County in its application and administration of the GLO CDBG contract(s), if awarded, to support eligible activities in the County of Calhoun. Accordingly, the County is seeking to contract with a qualified Professional Administrator or Service Provider (individual/firm) to prepare the application and/or administer the awarded contract(s). The complete submission requirements, evaluation criteria and other information concerning this RFP can be downloaded from the County’s website, www.calhouncotx.org , or by contacting Demi Cabrera, Calhoun County Assistant Auditor at 361-553-4613 or demi.cabrera@calhouncotx.org . The complete submittal, consisting of one (1) original and four (4) copies, of your proposal of services and statement of qualifications for the proposed services and all required information and forms must be delivered in a sealed package clearly marked on the outside “RFP 2026.08, CDBG Grant Administration Professional Services” and addressed to : Honorable Vern L. Lyssy, Calhoun County Judge Calhoun County Courthouse 211 S. Ann Street 3 rd Floor, Suite 301 Port Lavaca, TX 77979. Deadline for submission of proposals and all required information and forms is 2:00:00 PM, Thursday, April 30, 2026, in the County Judge’s office. Commissioners’ Court reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals, to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to Calhoun County and to be the sole judge in determining which proposal will be most advantageous to Calhoun County.
