INVITATION TO BIDDERSFOR RIBBONWOOD PHASE 2 CLEARING & GRADINGPulte Homes of Texas, L.P. on behalf of Ribbonwood Municipal Utility District No. 1 of Denton County (“OWNER”) will receive bids for construction of RIBBONWOOD PHASE 2 CLEARING & GRADING in Denton County, Texas electronically or at the office of Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. (6160 Warren Parkway, Suite 210, Frisco, TX 75034) until 2:00 p.m. local time on the date of Thursday, March 19, 2026 at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. In addition to the opening of sealed Bids at the address above, a virtual conference option using Microsoft Teams will be provided. Any proposals received after the closing time will be returned unopened. The project includes clearing and grading of approximately 116,000 CY over 30.0 acres in the city of Aubrey ETJ, Denton County, Texas. A Pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, March 5th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time at the office of Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. (6160 Warren Parkway, Suite 210, Frisco, TX 75034). The Pre-bid conference is mandatory. A virtual conference option will be provided. Proposals must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond from a surety company holding a permit in the State of Texas for an amount equal to 5% of the bid. The amount of said cashier's check or bond will be forfeited to the OWNER and the bank or surety shall be liable to the OWNER for the amount in event the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter a contract or furnish bonds as hereafter required within fifteen (15) days after the date of notice of award. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond on the forms provided each in the amount of 100% of the Contract price from a surety company licensed by the State of Texas. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a Bid.
