CITY OF COMMERCE ORDINANCE 2026 — 03 — 01 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE, AMENDING CHAPTER 22 "BUILDING AND BUILDING REGULATIONS", TO INCLUDE A NEW SECTION, ARTICLE IX "VACANT BUILDINGS", SECTIONS 22-266 — 22-275; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. A public hearing and the first reading of this Ordinance will take place at the February 17, 2026 City Council meeting, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Commerce City Hall located at 1119 Alamo Street in Commerce, Texas.
