CITY OF MCLENDON-CHISHOLM The City of McLendon-Chisholm passed the following Ordinance at the Feb 10, 2026 City Council meeting: An ordinance of the City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas, amending Chapter 8 "Offenses and Nuisances" by adding Article 8.11, "Irrigation and Water Conservation" and prohibiting water waste by irrigation systems that irrigate or discharge water onto impervious surfaces or allow excess irrigation runoff to flow away from property being irrigated; providing definitions; providing for enforcement and penalties; providing a severability clause; providing a repealer; and providing an effective date.
