136868 Notice to Bidders Rowland-Sand Creek NOTICE TO BIDDERS Lewis Conservation District Chehalis, Washington Rowland-Sand Creek Fish Passage Project, 2026 SEALED BIDS will be received for Rowland- Sand Creek Fish Passage Improvement Project, 2026, (Engineers Estimate $142,000) at the office of Lewis Conservation District, located at 2057 SW Salsbury Ave, Chehalis, WA 98532, until April 21st at 2 pm., at which time they will be publicly opened and read. A mandatory job show will be held at the site on April 15th, 2026 at 10 A.M. Site address is 207 Sand Creek Lane, Morton, WA 98356. Coordinates: Latitude 46.5029373, Longitude -122.2014542. Attendance at the job show is required for bid submission. MAJOR BID ITEMS will include: Mobilization - LS, Dewater and Work Site Isolation - LS, Traffic Bypass - LS, Remove Existing Wood Bridge - LS, Structure Excavation, Haul and Disposal - 350 CY, Light Loose Riprap, - 65 CY, Crushed Surfacing Base & Top Course - 45 CY, Gravel Backfill Cl. A - CY, Install Bridge (Provided) - LS, Utilities - LS, Install Bridge (Provided) - LS, Streambed Sediment - 46 CY, Common Borrow Backfill and Compaction - 20 CY, Construction Geotextile Fabric - 39 SY, Seed and Mulch - 0.20 AC, Project Cleanup - LS, and other items in conformance with the 2024 WSDOT Standard Specifications incl. the APWA Supplement, and the Special Provisions for this project. This project is funded by a grant from the Family Forest Fish Passage Program, which is administered by The Washington Recreation and Conservation Office, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the Washington Department of Natural Resources. Washington State prevailing wage provisions apply to this project and the contractor will be required to file a Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages to Department of Labor and Industries, as well as Affidavit of Wages Paid. The District will not make final payment until they receive evidence that the Affidavit form has been certified by L&I. ALL BID PROPOSALS must be in writing, on forms furnished from the Lewis Conservation District, placed and sealed in an envelope, with an indication on the front bottom left corner of said envelope, the project name, name of bidder, and date and time of opening, and then delivered to the Lewis Conservation District Manager on or before the day and hour of the above-mentioned bid opening. The proposal may also be delivered via email in PDF format to Kelly Verd, Lewis Conservation District Special Projects Manager, at kelly.verd@lewiscdwa.com. If delivering proposal via email, use "Rowland-Sand Creek Fish Passage Project, 2026" in the subject line. Please make sure to receive a read receipt on your delivery submission.
