You are invited to bid on a General Contract for the construction of the Phase II Tenant Improvements to the Kittitas Valley Healthcare Office Building in the City of Ellensburg, WA. The project consists of an interior re-model of approximately 10,553 SF including demolition, new walls, finishes, and associated mechanical and electrical system modifications. Additional instructions regarding bidding are contained in Section 00 10 00 – Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual.
 
Preliminary Estimate:
Base Bid: $1.5 million
 
Proposals will be accepted by the Owner until 12:00pm (Base Bid & Alternates), prevailing time, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the KVH Radio Hill Building at 1506 East Radio Road, Ellensburg, WA 98926. Bid proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud at 12:00pm. Interested parties are invited to attend.
 
A Pre-Bid Conference, optional for all General Contractor prospective bidders, will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 12:00pm at the project site, 1506 East Radio Road, Ellensburg, WA 98926.
 
Plans and Specifications are available, beginning March 9, through the Architect. Printed paper sets are avail-able at $200 per set (limit 2 sets to General Contractors and 1 set for subcontractors). The cost is refundable provided the documents are returned in good condition within 10 days after bid opening. Additional sets may be purchased at cost, non-refundable.

Bid security amounting to five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid must accompany each Bidder's proposal in accordance with Instructions to Bidders.

No bidder may withdraw his proposal after the date and time set for opening thereof or before award of con-tract, unless said award is delayed beyond 30 days. Substantial Completion shall be achieved in compliance with Section 01 10 00 of the Project Manual.
 
The project requires compliance with prevailing wage under RCW 39.12.
 
The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, and in particular, to reject a proposal not
accompanied by the required bid security or data required. The process shall comply with RCW 39.04.
