Thurston PUD Whiskey Hollow 670 PFAS Remediation Project Estimated Cost of the Project: $143,030 INVITATION FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by Thurston PUD (District), located at 1230 Ruddell Rd. SE, Lacey, WA 98503 until 2 pm Monday, April 6, 2026, for the general contract for the Whiskey Hollow 670 PFAS Remediation Project as described in the scope of work. Contractors may obtain the contract documents by requesting them from the District at doug.piehl@thurstonpud.org at no cost. Bid Security: A certified or bank cashier's check for 5 percent of the bid amount, payable to Thurston PUD, or a bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid. Rejection of Bids: The District shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular. All applicants must have an active Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number to submit a bid, including subs. The District is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (Small, Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses) are encouraged to submit bids. All work performed on the project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. The bids will be opened at 2 pm Monday, April 6, 2026, at the District's main office at 1230 Ruddell Rd SE, Lacey WA 98503. Location will be the 8402 209th St E, Spanaway WA 98387 (TPN 0418081018). Representatives of Thurston PUD will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference.
