Thurston PUD East Olympia 684 PFAS Remediation Project Estimated Cost of the Project: $130,030 INVITATION FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by Thurston PUD (District), located at 1230 Ruddell Rd. SE, Lacey, WA 98503 until 10 am Wednesday, May 6, 2026, for the general contract for the East Olympia 684 PFAS Remediation Project as described in the scope of work. Contractors may obtain the contract documents by requesting them from the District at pudplanning@thurstonpud.org at no cost. Bid Security: A certified or bank cashier's check for 5 percent of the bid amount, payable to Thurston PUD, or a bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid. Rejection of Bids: The District shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular. All applicants must have an active Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number to submit a bid. The District is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (Small, Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses) are encouraged to submit bids. All work performed on the project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. The bids will be opened at 10 am Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the District's main office at 1230 Ruddell Rd SE, Lacey WA 98503. This project is funded through the Washington State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund program with federal funds from the Environmental Protection Agency. DWSRF requirements and provisions must be met by Washington State licensed general contractors and all subcontractors. Optional Pre-bid conferences will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Location will be the 3930 82nd Ave SE, Olympia WA 98501 (TPN 39900300200). Representatives of Thurston PUD will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference.
