THE HEALING LODGE OF THE SEVEN NATIONS - KITCHEN REMODEL 

Project Description
The Project consists of the remodel of commercial kitchen and dining rooms. Including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Equipment upgrades. Updates to kitchen layout to include a food line and new finishes throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Updates to existing restroom to include a new washer and dryer.

Scope of Work Includes: 
Demolition, salvage, and/or removal of existing equipment and finishes. Installation of Trench Drains into existing floor, modifications to existing MEP systems, and kitchen equipment to accommodate new equipment installation and layout. Includes the updating of fire sprinkler heads and system as required.

Responses to RFP should include all documents provided in RFP Attachments and marked “Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations Kitchen Remodel” on the outside of the submitted sealed envelope. Responses must be received no later than 2pm May 15th, 2026. at the following address:

Deliver Bids to the Family Wellness Building, to the receptionist. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the 2:00pm deadline will not be considered.

Prevailing Wage Rates:
This is a federally funded project and requires Davis-Bacon wage rates.

Bid Security:
A Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the bid amount. As an option to a bid bond with a State Licensed Surety, certified check, or a cashier's check is acceptable and made payable to The Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations. This surety shall be forfeited in the event of failure by the successful bidder to sign a contract or to furnish the necessary one hundred percent, (100%), Performance Bond. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the opening of bids. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.

Insurance:
Commercial General Liability with limits no less than $1,000,000 combined single limit per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate for personal injury, bodily injury, and property damage. Automobile Liability Insurance with limits no less than $1,000,000 combines single limit per accident for bodily injury and property damage. This insurance shall be procured and maintained throughout the project.

Performance Bond: 
A Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond shall be procured and maintained throughout the project.

Pre-Bid Conference/Walk-Through – May 1st, 2026 at 10:00 AM, located at 5600 East 8th Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA 99212, Building 1 Kitchen. General Contractor and major subcontractors are required to attend. 

Construction Kick-Off Meeting – June 1st, 2026, time, location, and attendees, to be determined.

Construction Completion – September 30th, 2026.

The Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in its best interest.
