MIDWAY SEWER DISTRICT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Board of Commissioners of the Midway Sewer District will hold a public hearing to ratify the creation of Utility Local Improvement District No. 50. The proposed ULID project will extend public sanitary sewer service to the neighborhood between S 188th St and S 190th St, from 4th Ave S to 8th Ave S. The system improvements will include four new 8-inch gravity sewer lines, manholes, and associated connections. Per RCW 57.16.060, a map of the proposed ULID improvements and a list of the property owners within the ULID boundary will be available to the public at the District office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The total design and construction costs for the ULID are estimated to be $4,428,097. Every property owner within the ULID boundary will be subject to pay $25,500, with an interest rate set at 3% over a 20-year term and will be applied to each parcel's property taxes. This $25,500 is a sum of $20,000 in ULID assessments and a $5,500 General Facility Charge. These costs do not include the work on private property needed to connect to the system. All who wish to object to the formation of the ULID may send their written protests to the Midway Sewer District Board of Commissioners Secretary up to 10 days following the adoption of the resolution to form the ULID.
