Please take notice the Washington State Department of Ecology is providing the public with an accounting of permit-exempt ground water used in the Stillaguamish River basin, Water Resource Inventory Area (WRIA) 5, under the water reservations established in chapter 173-505 Washington Administrative Code (WAC). This notice represents an estimate of domestic reservation uses between September 26, 2005 (date rule enacted) and December 31, 2024. For the North Fork Stillaguamish, 26,600 gallons per day (gpd) of water has been allocated from the reservation, leaving 1,265,944 gpd (97.942%) of water unallocated. In the South Fork Stillaguamish, 39,900 gpd of water has been allocated from the reservation, leaving 929,508 gpd (95.884%) of water unallocated. For the entire Stillaguamish WRIA, 190,575 gpd of water has been allocated from the reservation, leaving 3,040,785 gpd (94.102%) of water unallocated.
