Notice of Application Project: Carter Lofts PRJ-169767/LUP-85739 Request: The subdivision of two lots into an 8-lot short subdivision. Single-family-attached homes are proposed on Lots 2 through 5 and single-family detached homes are proposed on Lots 1 and 6. Lots 1-6 are proposed to have ADUs. One existing single-family home will be retained on Lot 8. One existing single-family home is to be relocated on-site to Lot 7. The proposal utilizes Infill and Narrow Lot development standards. A variance is requested to reduce the street side setback along Kauffman Avenue from eight feet to 2.5 feet. The application was accepted Jan. 26, 2026, and deemed fully complete Feb. 24, 2026. Location: 3503 Kauffman Ave and 3500 Harney St, Vancouver, WA 98660. Parcels 3805000 and 3800000. Located within the NW Quarter of Section 22, Township 2N, Range 1E. All evidence relied upon by the planning official to make the decision shall be contained within the record and is available for public review electronically. Failure of any party to address the relevant approval criteria with sufficient specificity may preclude subsequent appeals on that issue.
