NOTICE OF APPLICATION The Town of Friday Harbor has received an application for the following project. The public has a right to review the contents of the official file, provide written comments, participate in any public meetings or hearings, and request a copy of the decision. Project Location 260 Price Street, Friday Harbor, Washington, San Juan County; Project Description Applicant seeking a variance for the perimeter landscaping requirements under FHMC 17.66.040(F) (2) that achieves the minimum standard; planting 13 additional tree space to provide partial screening on exterior lot lines and planting of 6 shrubs 6 feet within the 20ft perimeter landscaping area for the Holliwalk Affordable housing project. The landscaping area will be averaged to provide the same area of vegetation. Type of Permits Variance and Planned Residential Development Agreement Comments and other written requests must be submitted no later no later than 4:30 p.m. on 03/05/2026 . The public comment period for this application is 15 days and the Town will not act on the application nor make a threshold determination until the comment period has ended. Any person may comment on the proposed application, request notice of and participate in the public hearing (if a hearing is required) and request a copy of the decision.
