City seeks qualifications for engineering and architectural services for 2026 projects.

City of Hoquiam    2026 Request for Statement of Qualifications for    Engineering, Architectural or other related Professional Services  The City of Hoquiam solicits a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from consulting firms who wish to be evaluated and considered to provide engineering, architectural, construction inspection and testing, land surveying and related technical services in support of the City for projects to be initiated in 2026  PROJECT DESCRIPTION  Projects could include design and permitting of WWTP upgrades, sewer and stormwater pump stations upgrades, waterline or reservoir replacement, Olympic Stadium or other building renovations, roadway/sidewalk restoration, public facility repairs, or similar projects deemed necessary by the City of Hoquiam.  Funding for these projects is likely to be comprised by a mix of state and federal grants, along with city sources.  SCOPE OF WORK AND SCHEDUL  E The work to be performed by the Consultant may include engineering, design, right of way acquisition, and preparation of construction contract documents. This includes preparation of 30%, 60%, 90%, and final plans, specifications, and estimate (PS&E) package for review and approval by the City and any associated funding agency. The Consultant may be asked to provide construction support services such as on-site inspections, surveying and project management.  EVALUATION CRITERIA  Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria: 1. Firm/Teams Engineering/Architectural Qualifications (25 pts) 2. Firm/Teams NEPA/SEPA/Permitting Qualifications (25 pts) 3. Key Team Members Qualifications (25 pts) 4. Firm/Teams related Experience, History, References and Past Performances (25 pts) The City reserves the right to ask for additional qualifying information, conduct interviews and/or select the highest scoring consultant(s) from the written qualification packets received as a result of this SOQ.  SUBMITTAL  The submittal must be formatted as follows:  8.5 x 11 sheet, limited to 10 pages, single sided only, not including the front and back cover Text (font) size no smaller than 10 points If charts and/or graphs are utilized, text (font) size must be no smaller than 8 points Your submittal must consist of: Letter of transmittal Responses to Evaluation Criteria 1 through 4 The SOQ shall meet the following requirements or may be deemed nonresponsive and will not be eligible for consideration of this work: Title of the SOQ and your firms name clearly identified on the cover of the submittal packet and the letter of transmittal  Responsiveness to all evaluation criteria Meeting page limitations and font size requirements Meeting submittal deadline submission date and time Consultants must submit your Statement of Qualifications to the City via email by March 9, 2026.
