REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS Safety Planning Studies The City of Walla Walla is requesting qualifications for planning activities focused on improving safety citywide. A detailed RFQ can be viewed at https://wallawallawa.gov/services/rfps-bids. The City's intent is to have an engineering consultant complete three main activities by the end of 2027: safer crossings guidelines, citywide speed management guidelines, and a School Avenue corridor safety study. Those desiring consideration shall submit a complete Summary of Qualifications by 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2026, local time, to the City of Walla Walla Engineering Division, Attn: Elaine Dawson, 55 E Moore Street, Walla Walla, Washington, 99362. The Summary of Qualifications must be submitted in a sealed envelope or box and clearly marked “Safety Planning Studies.” The City of Walla Walla, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Walla Walla is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit qualifications.
