Chelan County Water Conservancy Board City of Wenatchee ApplicationsBEFORE THE CHELAN COUNTY WATER CONSERVANCY BOARDCHELAN COUNTY, WASHINGTONNotice of Application to Change the Purpose of Use, Change the Place of Use, and Add Points of Withdrawal and Diversion under Surface Water Rights S4-007327CL and S3-+00930CWRIS.TAKE NOTICE: That Regional Water System c/o City of Wenatchee (City) of Chelan and Douglas Counties, Washington filed two applications on February 12, 2026 with the Chelan County Water Conservancy Board: CHEL-26-01 and CHEL-26-02 to change the purpose of use, change the place of use, and add points of diversion and withdrawal under surface water right claim S4-007327CL and surface water right certificate S3-+00930CWRIS respectively.That said right, S4-007327CL, has a claimed date of first use of February 2, 1915, and claims 2.3 cubic feet per second (cfs) and 780 acre-feet per year (afy) (pending a claim amendment modification to 905 afy) for industrial use. And that said right, S3-+00930CWRIS, has a priority date of December 9, 1971, and authorizes 2.3 cfs and 905 afy for industrial use. Both rights claim and authorize a Columbia River diversion located in Govt. Lot 4 of Section 3, T. 22 N., R. 20 E.W.M. And both rights have a claimed and authorized place of use located within the SW¼ NE¼ of Section 3, T. 22 N., R. 20 E.W.M.That the applicant proposes the following changes to both rights: to change the purpose of use to municipal supply purposes, to add 12 existing wells located in the NE¼ NE¼ of Section 33, the SE¼ SE¼ and Govt. Lot 3 of Section 34, and Govt. Lot 17 of Section 22 within T. 23 N., R. 20 E.W.M.; Govt. Box 47611, Olympia, WA 98504-7611 within thirty (30) days from February 28, 2026.Any interested party may submit comments, objections, and other information to the Board regarding this application. The comments and information may be submitted in writing or verbally at any public meeting of the board held to discuss or decide on the application.
