REPUBLICATION - NOTICE of APPLICATION with SEPA Island County has reviewed the proposed project for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a determination of non-significance (DNS). The optional DNS process established by WAC 197-11-355 is being used. The public comment period as described below may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the following proposal . File: 017/26 SDP-II, Applicant: Puget Sound Energy, Location: R13232-191-5020, Whidbey Island Proposal: PSE is proposing replacing bare overhead lines along NW Madrona Way with Tree Wire and installing new underground conduit via trenching to create a feeder tie beginning near the intersection of NW Madrona Way and NW Vine St, and ending at the intersection of NW Madrona Way and Sherman Rd. a project total of 1,609.07 cubic yards of cut + fill. In Coupeville there would be a total of 567.27 cubic yards of cut + fill, and in Island County there would be a total of 1,041.8 cubic yards of cut + fill. Project will be occurring within both Island County and the Town of Coupeville.
