CITY OF YAKIMA CERTIFICATION OF ORDINANCES ENACTMENT Ordinance Nos. 2026-004 through 2026-007 were duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Yakima, Washington on the 17th day of February 2026, and are on file with the Office of the City Clerk, where the same are open to public inspection. The full text of any ordinance is available online or will be mailed upon request by calling (509) 575-6000. The summaries of the ordinances are as follows: ORDINANCE NO. 2026 004 amending the City of Yakima Municipal Code Section 1.06.010 Meetings of the city council. ORDINANCE NO. 2026-005 relating to a Transportation Benefit District; updating project costs for the transportation improvements to be funded by the district. ORDINANCE NO. 2026-006 adding a new Section, 3.78.062 to the Yakima Municipal Code imposing an additional sales and use tax of one-tenth of one percent within the boundaries of the City of Yakima Transportation Benefit District for the purpose of financing the costs associated with transportation improvements in the district as authorized by the Revised Code of Washington.
