PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice to the owners of the property at 1605 LEE STREET:
Said property has been deemed by the City Council of the Town of Rogersville, AL to constitute a public nuisance, pursuant to state and local laws, due to, but not limited to, City Ordinance 031109.
On February 2nd, 2026, action was taken by the City Council to declare this property a public nuisance and to institute the mandatory legal posting requirements. A hearing shall be held at Town Hall on June 1st, 2026, at 5:00 pm, to authorize an assessment in favor of the City for costs incurred. If an appeal is not made to the City Clerk's office, or a notice of objection is not filed prior to the assessment hearing of the City Council, and a representative of the property owner is not present at the Council hearing, it shall be deemed that the notice is accepted and the associated right to contest the removal of stated nuisance is thereby waived.
