REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
Geneva Hall Deferred Maintenance Renovation Project
STILLMAN COLLEGE Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Stillman College, 3601 Stillman Blvd, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401, is soliciting proposals from qualified construction and design-build firms for the Geneva Hall Deferred Maintenance Renovation Project until 5:00 p.m. CDT on June 10, 2026.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of deferred-maintenance renovation work at Geneva Hall, a two-story, approximately 27,900-square-foot building constructed in 1954, located on the Stillman College campus, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Work includes replacement of roof shingles, gutters and downspouts, exterior doors with ADA-accessible hardware, metal windows, and deteriorated pipe and plumbing systems.

Firms must hold a valid Alabama contractor's license. Stillman College reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and issue addenda or clarifications as needed. Respondents are responsible for monitoring the College website for updates related to this solicitation.
This notice will be published once per week for three consecutive weeks in accordance with the advertisement requirements of Alabama Public Works Law for construction projects exceeding $100,000.
