BARTON SCHOOL DISTRICTNOTICE OF DESTRUCTION OF SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDSThe Barton School District maintains confidential records pertaining to Special Education andSpeech Pathology services. In accordance with state and federal guidelines, these records arescheduled to be destroyed six (6) years after the student graduated or would have graduatedfrom high school.Students who received Special Education and/or Speech Pathology services, or who weredismissed from these programs during the 2019–2020 school year, are invited to request copiesof their records prior to destruction.Requests for records must be made by July 15, 2026.
