MAOFMexican American Opportunity FoundationEmpowering Families from Child to Senior NOTICE INVITING BIDS (INVITATION FOR BID - IFB) Sealed bids will be received by the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF), located at 401 N. Garfield Avenue, Montebello, CA 90640, beginning April 17, 2026, and must be received no later than 4:00 PM on May 15, 2026, for the procurement of food products and related services under the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for Program Year 2026-2027. Bids will be opened by the Agency on May 15, 2026, following the submission deadline To download this IFB, Proposers must go to the webpage: www.maof.org, under the About Section/Click Procurement to look for the IFB. DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES MAOF is soliciting bids for the provision and delivery of USDA-compliant food products to support CACFP operations. The contract will include food items such as, but not limited to: fresh produce, dairy products, meats, grains, frozen foods, canned goods, dry goods, and infant foods, consistent with program requirements as outlined in the IFB documents. Services will be provided to thirty-six (36) delivery sites located throughout California, in Orange County, Ventura, Kern, Monterey, Riverside, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino. with deliveries scheduled Monday through Tuesday between 8:00AM and 12:00PM. All food products must: Meet current CACFP meal pattern requirements in accordance with 7 CFR Part 226 Be wholesome, properly labeled, and handled in compliance with all federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations Include appropriate documentation such as Child Nutrition (CN) labels and/or Product Formulation Statements (PFS) where applicable Be delivered in sanitary conditions with proper temperature controls maintained during transport The Vendor must have the capability to supply the full range of food product categories outlined in the IFB and maintain sufficient capacity to meet program demand.
