NOTICE INVITING FORMAL BIDSNOTICE, PLACE AND DUE DATE, PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Orange Unified School District, “District”, will receive electronically-sealed bids pursuant to Public Contract Code (PCC) section 1601 through the PlanetBids Portal https://pbsystem.planetbids.com/portal/15578/portal-home “Vendor Portal” at the date and time specified below for the following bids: * No later than 2:00PM on May 14, 2026 for Bid No. 2526-974 Exterior Painting at Multiple sites, Group 1. This project includes but is not limited to complete preparation and repaint of school exterior trim, fascia, windows, doors, sea containers, ball walls, ramps, and lunch shelter at three (3) Elementary Schools – Palmyra, Cambridge, and Sycamore.
 * No later than 2:10PM on May 14, 2026 for Bid No. 2526-975 Exterior Painting at Multiple sites, Group 2. This project includes but is not limited to complete preparation and repaint of school exterior trim, fascia, windows, doors, sea containers, ball walls, ramps, and lunch shelter at three (3) Elementary Schools – Esplanade, Jordan, and McPherson.
 * No later than 2:20PM on May 14, 2026 for Bid No. 2526-976 Exterior Painting at Multiple sites, Group 3. This project includes but is not limited to complete preparation and repaint of school exterior trim, fascia, windows, doors, sea containers, ball walls, ramps, and lunch shelter at three (3) Elementary Schools – Handy, Villa Park, and Linda Vista.
 * No later than 2:30PM on May 14, 2026 for Bid No. 2526-977 Exterior Painting at Multiple sites, Group 4. This project includes but is not limited to complete preparation and repaint of school exterior trim, fascia, windows, doors, sea containers, ball walls, ramps, and lunch shelter at three (3) Elementary Schools – Serrano, Imperial, and Olive.DOCUMENTS AVAILABILITY: This public works prevailing wage rate Project (Labor Code 1720) is further detailed in the Project documents, is available only through the Vendor Portal. The Project documents will govern should there be any conflict with the notice.LICENSES, DIR REGISTRATION, PREQUALIFICATIONS: Prime contractor must possess a valid CSLB Class C-33 “Painting & Decorating” California State Contractor’s License (Cal. Code 1725.2).The Contract Time is 45 days. CONTRACTOR should consult General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Special Conditions, and General Requirements regarding Milestones and Liquidated Damages.MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE: All prospective contractors must be on time and attend the entire pre-bid conference held at the following times and locations. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received or in the bidding.
