NOTICE INVITING BIDSWESTMINSTER SCHOOL DISTRICTNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Westminster School District, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as “District”, will receive prior to 2:00 p.m., May 19, 2026 sealed bids from for the award of a Contract for the following: ASPHALT REPLACEMENT AND SEAL COATING/STRIPING1 replacement/seal coating location, 3 seal coat and striping only locationsBid No. 2025/26-04All bids shall be made and presented only on the forms presented by the District. Bids shall be received in the Business Services office at 14121 Cedarwood Street, Westminster, CA 92683, 714-894-7311 attention Scott Harvey and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above state time and place. Any bids received after the time specified above or after any extensions due to material changes shall be returned unopened.CONTRACTOR should consult the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and General Requirements regarding Milestones and Liquidated Damages.*Bid documents are available beginning on April 21, 2026 on the Westminster School District website at https://www.wsdk8.us/divisions/business-services/purchasing/current-bidding-opportunities on the “Current Bid Opportunities” page under Business Services.A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Job Walk will be held on April 28, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., and will begin at Johnson Middle School at 13603 Edwards St., Westminster, CA 92683 and continue to Clegg Elementary school at 6311 Larchwood Ave., Huntington Beach, CA 92647. No site walks will be completed for the other 2 seal coating projects, but maps and square footages will be provided. Bidders must attend all segments of the Pre-bid Conference and Job Walk. Any Contractor bidding on the Project who fails to attend the mandatory job walk and conference, will be deemed a non-responsive bidder and will have its bid returned unopened. Bidders are to be in attendance for the entire duration of the Pre-Bid Conference and Job Walk.Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code and be licensed to perform the work called for in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active C-12 or A license at the time of bid and throughout the duration of this Contract.
