WHITTIER UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALSFOR THE LEASE OF THE WHITTIER UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT WATER PUMPING RIGHTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Whittier Union High School District (District) is accepting proposals from water purveyors in the Central Basin for the lease of up to 50 acre-feet of groundwater pumping allocation rights with flex for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.The proposals shall be sealed and marked "Proposal for Lease of Water Pumping Rights FY 2026-2027 " and include a completed version of “Water Lease Proposal” form.Proposal requirements are set forth in the Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) available on the District’s website at: https://www.wuhsd.org > Departments > Business Services > Facilities > Request for Proposals on or after April 28, 2026, or by email request to Nancy David, Facilities Department Secretary at nancy.david@wuhsd.org . Proposals must follow the format described in the RFP and be submitted as directed.All submitted proposals will be reviewed and analyzed by District staff and the proposal(s) that best meets the District’s needs will be selected for further analysis and negotiation, as deemed necessary or appropriate by the District. Proposals are due no later than May 8, 2026, by 5:30 p.m. and must be submitted electronically via email to: nancy.david@wuhsd.org .
