NOTICE TO BIDDERS / INVITATION TO BIDNotice is hereby given that the governing board of the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District (“District”) will receive bids for: Bid 2025-26.09 HVAC Upgrades District Administration Offices (“Project”).Bidders must submit sealed bids on or before 3:00 p.m., April 22, 2026, at 15959 E Gale Ave., City of Industry, CA 91745. At this time the District will open the bids & publicly read them aloud. Any claim of error must be made in compliance with Public Contract Code § 5100, et seq. The District is not responsible for bids received after the deadline noted above or bids misdelivered, by any method, even to a different District address.The Project consists of: installing packaged rooftop HVAC units & associated work.All bids shall be on the form provided by the District & must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents.Bidders are required to possess an active B California Contractor License at the time of the bid opening & throughout the term of the Contract.Bidders shall provide a bid bond or other acceptable security in the amount of 10% of their total bid price. The awarded Contractor(s) is required to furnish a 100% Performance & Payment Bond.The Project is subject to the general prevailing rate of per diem wages & the general prevailing rate for holiday & overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District, pursuant to Labor Code § 1770 et seq.A mandatory job-walk will be held on April 13, 2026, starting at 11:00 a.m. at 15959 E Gale Ave., City of Industry, California 91745.Contract Documents will be available on April 1, 2026, from ARC (American Reprographics Co.), PH: 714-424-8525., click on Public Plan room & search by Hacienda La Puente USD in the dropdown list or call ARC & request the Plan Well Department.The District reserves the right to reject any & all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received.
