NOTICE TO BIDDERS / INVITATION TO BIDNotice is hereby given that the governing board of the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District (“District”) will receive bids for: Bid 2025-26.05 Districtwide Roofing Installations #4 (“Project”).Bidders must submit sealed bids on or before 3:00 p.m., April 16, 2026, at 15959 E Gale Ave., City of Industry, CA 91745. At this time the District will open the bids & publicly read them aloud. Any claim of error must be made in compliance with Public Contract Code § 5100, et seq. The District is not responsible for bids received after the deadline noted above or bids misdelivered, by any method, even to a different District address.The Project consists of: Tear off & reroof of various District sites using Garland roofing systems.All bids shall be on the form provided by the District & must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents.Bidders are required to possess an active C-39 California Contractor License at the time of the bid opening & throughout the term of the Contract.Bidders shall provide a bid bond or other acceptable security in the amount of 10% of their total bid price. The awarded Contractor(s) is required to furnish a 100% Performance & Payment Bond.The Project is subject to the general prevailing rate of per diem wages & the general prevailing rate for holiday & overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District, pursuant to Labor Code § 1770 et seq.A mandatory job-walk will be held on April 2, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m., Bidders are only eligible to bid those site(s) for which they visited during the job-walk, Contractors will be required to sign-in at each location.
