NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be received by the Department of Finance, First Floor, Eureka City Hall, 531 K Street, Eureka, California, 95501, until 2:00 PM on Thursday, the 23rd day of April, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in Eureka City Hall, First Floor Lobby, for performing work in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications, therefor, as follows: Halvorsen Park Trail Project BID NO. 2026-7 NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: April 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. 1011 Waterfront Dr. Eureka Bids are required for the entire work as described herein: PROJECT SCOPE This project consists, in general, of: removal of existing trail and construction of approximately one half mile Class 1 multi-use trail. The bid packet can be obtained for free at www.eurekaca.gov/bids.aspx, or the packet may be reviewed at either the Engineering Department as stated above or at selected builders' exchanges in Northern California and Southern Oregon.
