The City of Oakley Public Works Department hereby gives notice of the Citys intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located between Jersey Island Road and Bethel Island Road, north of East Cypress Road, and south of Sandmound Blvd. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Case No. 25-09-0656R for a proposed project along the Sacramento River-San Joaquin River Delta. As part of the Grand Cypress Preserve, a connected levee system with interior drainage system is proposed, which will remove an area from the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA). Once the project has been completed, a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) request will be submitted that will, in part, revise the following flood hazards along the Sacramento River-San Joaquin River Delta. 1. Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) will be established within the interior drainage system. 2. The SFHA will be modified to a Zone X (shaded) Protected by Levee flood hazard area. Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the City of Oakley Public Works office at 3231 Main Street, Oakley, CA 94561. Interested persons may call Billilee Saengchalern, Public Works Director and City Engineer for additional information from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Thursday ECT 0006949300: mm-dd-yyyy
