NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., the Planning Commission of the City of Palos Verdes Estates ("City") will hold a public hearing at the City Hall Council Chambers located at 340 Palos Verdes Drive West, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a recommendation to the City Council regarding an Ordinance amending Palos Verdes Estates Municipal Code Chapter 18.45 (Accessory Dwelling Units). If adopted, the Ordinance will update City's regulations to comply with recent changes in state law (AB462, AB1154, SB9, and SB543) related to Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (JADUs). The action is proposed to be found statutorily exempt from CEQA. Additional information may be obtained from the City Clerk's office by telephone at (310) 3780383 or by visiting City Hall during normal business hours at 340 Palos Verdes Drive West, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274. HOW TO COMMENT: Public response in person at the public hearing or in writing is invited. Written correspondence must be emailed to cityclerks@pvestates.org or dropped off at City Hall no later than NOON (12:00pm) on Thursday, March 12, 2026.and will be included with the posted agenda materials.
