NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Palos Verdes Estates will consider adoption of Ordinance No. 771, updating regulations related to Fire Safety and Camping Laws within the City. This item will be heard at the regular City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 340 Palos Verdes Drive West, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274.
TITLE OF ORDINANCEAN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 8.56 (SMOKING PROHIBITED) AND CHAPTER 8.60 (FIREWORKS) OF TITLE 8 (HEALTH AND SAFETY), SECTIONS 12.24.040 (CLOSURE OF GROUNDS) AND 12.24.100 (DISORDERLY CONDUCT) OF CHAPTER 12.24 (PARKS) OF TITLE 12 (STREETS, SIDEWALKS, AND PUBLIC PLACES) AND ADDING CHAPTER 8.64 (UNLAWFUL CAMPING) TO THE PALOS VERDES ESTATES MUNICIPAL CODE AND FINDING THE SAME EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT
