BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN STATE OF CALIFORNIA R E S O L U T I O N R-26-9 APPROVE INTENTION TO LEASE REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 18330 EAST HARNEY LANE, LODI, CALIFORNIA, AND SET THE DATE OF MARCH 3, 2026, AT 9:00A.M. FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING TO OPEN SEALED PROPSALS (2/3RDS VOTE REQUIRED) - - - - - - - - - - - - - WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of San Joaquin County declares an intent to lease real property on January 27, 2026 in its chambers on the sixth floor of the Administration Building, 44 North San Joaquin Street, Stockton, California. WHEREAS, the property consists of 278.99 acres of agricultural land located in Lodi, California. The minimum terms and conditions of the lease are as follows: 1. Permitted Use: Operation of existing 170 acres of Zinfandel and 95 acres of Cabernet vineyard or similar use. 2. Premises: Property address 18330 East Harney Lane, Lodi, California, and consisting of 278.99 acres. 3. Initial Term of Lease: 1 year from date of commencement with four (4) separate 1-year tenant options. 4. Initial Lease Payment: A monthly rent of $15,000 or $53.76 per acre; or annual rate of $180,000. 5. Utilities: Tenant shall be responsible for all maintenance and utilities cost associates with the Property. Interested parties should submit written sealed proposals to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Suite 627, 44 N. San Joaquin Street, Sixth Floor, Stockton, California, prior to or on March 2, 2026, by 2:00PM. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the advertising and posting of the intention to lease real property be conducted as required by law.
