EXTENSION PERIOD TO FILE Should the incumbent not file nomination papers during the time prescribed, the nomination period will be extended for five calendar days for persons other than the incumbent, March 7, 2026, through March 11, 2026. In the event there are no nominees or an insufficient number of nominees for office and a petition for an election is not filed with the elections official within the time period prescribed by Elections Code Section 10515, appointment to each elective office will be made.
