City of LawndaleORDINANCE ADOPTEDBY THE CITY COUNCILOrdinance No. 1212-26 adopts by reference the 2025 Los Angeles County Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Residential, and Existing Buildings Codes and the 2025 California Green Building Standards Code and adopting local amendments to these County Codes, thereby updating and amending the Uniform Codes previously adopted by reference in Title 15 of the City’s Municipal Code. The ordinance was introduced at a regular City Council meeting on February 2, 2026, and adopted at a regular meeting on March 2, 2026, by the following roll call vote: Ayes: Pullen-Miles, Suarez, Kearney, Cuevas, Talavera; Noes: 0. It will take effect 30 days after adoption.
