ORDINANCE SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THOUSAND OAKS AMENDING THE THOUSAND OAKS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF COMMERCIAL FILMING IN THE CITY REPEALING AND REPLACING TITLE 4 CHAPTER 8 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting held on March 24, 2026, the City Council of the City of Thousand Oaks introduced an Ordinance to replace the City’s Filming Ordinance. The ordinance provides for updated regulations for commercial filming in the City, replacing Title 4, Chapter 8. City Council approved said Municipal Code Amendments. The second reading for adoption is scheduled for April 14, 2026. This Ordinance shall go into full force and effect at 12:01 a.m. on the thirty-first (31st) day after its passage.
