CITY OF WEST COVINA SUMMARY OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 2537 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, during its regular meeting on March 3, 2026, the City Council of the City of West Covina will consider adoption of proposed Ordinance No. 2537: ORDINANCE NO. 2537 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD ARTICLE XII, ENTITLED CODE OF CONDUCT SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE: Ordinance No. 2537 would amend Chapter 2 of the West Covina Municipal Code to codify a Code of Conduct that establishes governancebased standards of conduct applicable to elected and appointed officials and procedures for addressing alleged misconduct. The City Council introduced the proposed Ordinance at its regular meeting on January 20, 2026. At its regular meeting on February 3, 2026, the City Council considered adoption of the proposed Ordinance and directed additional changes to the Ordinance. The City Council is scheduled to consider adoption of the proposed Ordinance No. 2537 at its regular meeting on March 3, 2026.
